How prices are collected
Every day at 12:00 (UK time) we automatically check each shop's public pages and record product name, size, price and stock. Sale items are shown at their sale price.
"Grown in Japan"
We label a product "Japan" only when its name or description states the prefecture where it was grown. Otherwise it is shown as "Origin not stated".
New crop
Where a shop states "new crop" or a harvest year such as 2025, we show it, along with the milling date when given. No label does not mean the rice is old.
