答え方の型「STAR」
「〜したときのことを教えてください」という質問には、次の4つの順で話すとまとまります。
- Situation（状況）：いつ、どこで
- Task（課題）：何をする必要があったか
- Action（行動）：自分が何をしたか（一番長く）
- Result（結果）：どうなったか（できれば数字で）

In my last café, a customer was upset because his order had been made wrong during the morning rush (Situation). I needed to fix it quickly without holding up the queue (Task). I apologised, remade his drink straight away and offered him a pastry while he waited (Action). 「Do you have any questions for us?」と聞かれたら、1〜2個用意しておきます。「特にありません」より、働く意欲が伝わります。
