Privacy Policy

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

London Creator Map ("the Site") respects the privacy of its users and handles personal information appropriately. This policy sets out how the Site collects, uses and manages information.

1. Our basic approach

• There is no account registration or login.
• There are no input forms, and you are never asked to enter your name, email address or similar details on the Site.
• We do not currently use analytics tools, advertising, or cookies for tracking purposes.

2. Information we collect

(1) Information you provide when contacting us

If you contact us by email, we collect your email address, your name (if included), the content of your enquiry and any attachments (for example, when offering photos).

(2) Information recorded automatically when you visit

To deliver the Site, handle faults and prevent unauthorised access, the Site's server (hosting provider) keeps access logs for a certain period, including IP address, browser type, date and time of access, pages viewed and referring URL. The Site does not use this information to identify individuals.

(3) Information stored on your device (Save feature)

The list of spots you save with "♡ Save" is stored only in your browser's storage (localStorage) and is not sent to the Site's server. Deleting your browser data also deletes your saved spots. You can clear them at any time with "Clear all" on the saved spots page.

3. Purposes of use

• To reply to and correspond about your enquiries
• To correct and improve the listed information, and to consider spot suggestions and photo offers
• To keep the Site running reliably, handle faults and maintain security

If we use information for any other purpose, we will announce it in this policy in advance or obtain your consent.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site does not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We only use one cookie (lcm-locale) to remember your language choice. If we introduce analytics tools or similar in the future, we will revise this policy beforehand to state the purpose and recipients, and obtain consent where required.

5. External services

(1) Map (OpenStreetMap)

The spot map (/map) loads map images from OpenStreetMap's servers. When it does, your browser sends your IP address and similar information to those servers, which is handled in accordance with the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy. Map images are not loaded on any other page.

(2) Links to external sites and sharing

If you follow links such as "Open in Google Maps", the share menu (LINE, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, email) or photo credits (Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons) to an external site, that service's privacy policy applies. These links only connect to the external site when you tap them.

(3) Photos and fonts

Photos and fonts are served from the Site's own server, so no information about you is sent to the photo sources or font providers when you browse.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:

• Where required by law
• Where necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
• Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national authority or similar body in carrying out duties prescribed by law

Please note that, to deliver the Site and send and receive email, information may be processed and stored on servers operated by hosting and email service providers (including providers outside Japan).

7. Retention and security

Enquiries are kept after we have responded only for as long as needed for any follow-up, and deleted once no longer required. We take appropriate security measures, such as managing access permissions, to prevent unauthorised access, loss or leakage of the information we hold.

8. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of use of the personal information we hold about you, we will verify your identity and respond without delay in accordance with the law. Please contact us using the details below.

9. Use by minors

If you are a minor and wish to provide personal information, for example when contacting us, please obtain your parent's or guardian's consent first.

10. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy in response to changes in the law or in our services. We will announce any significant changes on the Site. The revised policy takes effect from the time it is published on this page.
